Question: If Christianity is true and yet only one of the many ways to God or salvation, why, do you suppose God insisted that His only begotten Son be tortured, spit upon and crucified. Jesus pleaded with His Father that if it were possible, to let "this cup pass from me". It obviously wasn't possible. If, indeed, Christianity is to be considered ---- at all, it must stand alone, as God the Father surely would have opted for one of the many less costly, sacrificial alternatives. Jesus is the only one worthy to claim: "No one comes to the Father except through me".
One can understand why Satan would create as many imitations and imposters to the "Truth" as possible. Why are we so easily decieved? Christ lived the only perfect life in the flesh and now, because He was crucified as an innocent, He is authorized to give His righteousness to the guilty ----- US!!
